2024 Ministry Report

The ministry has continued to impact lives through various initiatives, bringing spiritual transformation, education support, and economic empowerment to individuals and communities. Over the past year, significant progress has been made in leading people to Christ, discipling new believers, supporting education, and providing sustainable solutions to improve livelihoods. Through these efforts, lives have been transformed, hope has been restored, and communities have grown stronger in faith.

Since the beginning of the year 2024, 2,236 people have surrendered their lives to Christ, experiencing the power of salvation and a renewed sense of purpose. A total of 374 individuals have publicly declared their commitment to Christ through baptism, taking an important step in their spiritual journey. Additionally, a new church has been planted in Karamoja to serve as a place of worship, discipleship, and community engagement, providing spiritual nourishment to many.

The feeding program has played a crucial role in transforming the lives of children in various communities. Over 1,300 children have been fed consistently, ensuring that they receive the nutrition they need to grow and thrive. This program has had a far-reaching impact beyond just providing food; it has instilled discipline, improved behavior, and strengthened the spiritual lives of the children. Many who were once involved in destructive behaviors such as drug use, stealing, and immorality have turned their lives around through consistent mentorship and guidance. Weekly church services, missional community meetings, and group activities have helped them develop a stronger relationship with God, shaping them into responsible and respectful individuals.

In Karamoja, the feeding program has been a beacon of hope for the children in the community. Every Saturday, between 500 to 900 children gather not only to receive food but also to experience love, care, and a sense of belonging. The program has helped them form strong friendships, learn to share, and support one another. Many children have also gained basic learning skills, such as counting, reciting the alphabet, and narrating Bible stories, which have boosted their confidence. Inspired by the love and dedication of church leaders, several children now dream of becoming pastors and preachers, eager to share the gospel with others.

The impact of the feeding program has not gone unnoticed. Community leaders, including the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) and Local Council leaders (LC1), have publicly acknowledged and appreciated the transformation witnessed among the children. Neighbors have also testified to the remarkable behavioral changes, noting how the children have become more respectful, kind, and prayerful. Many attribute these changes to the greatness of God, as His love continues to be demonstrated through the ministry’s work.

Education has been another major focus, with 15 children receiving academic support. Three of them successfully completed their Senior Four exams and performed exceptionally well, securing promising opportunities for their future. Others have progressed to the next academic level, ensuring that they continue their education and build a strong foundation for a better life. By supporting their studies, the ministry is equipping these children with the knowledge and skills needed to break the cycle of poverty and contribute positively to society.

Economic empowerment initiatives have also been implemented to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for individuals and families. Five micro-enterprises have been supported, of which two are currently running successfully. These businesses have not only provided financial stability but have also empowered individuals to become self-reliant and contribute to their communities. Additionally, book-making projects have been introduced to equip people with valuable skills, these books are sold and some given to students who cannot afford them. A number of 140- 160 books were made.

The ministry’s work is an evidence of God’s faithfulness and the power of transformation through acts of love and service. Every life touched is a reflection of God’s grace at work, bringing hope to the hopeless and restoring dignity to those in need. Through evangelism, discipleship, education support, and economic empowerment, the ministry continues to shape communities and lead people to Christ. The testimonies of changed lives serve as a powerful reminder that God’s love knows no bounds, and as we continue this journey, we remain committed to making an even greater impact in the years to come.
