MINISTRY REPORT

January and February 2025

This report highlights the ministry work carried out in OMC Busega, OMC Karamoja, and Chayah Ministries during the months of January and February 2025. It shows the key achievements in Missional Communities (MCs), Salvations, baptisms, outreach programs, and Leadership development (Leader’s Retreat) and church planting.

1. MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES

The growth of Missional Communities has been remarkable in various locations:

• OMC Busega: 26 MCs
• OMC Karamoja: 6 MCs
• CHAYAH Ministries: 12 MCs

2. SALVATIONS AND BAPTISMS

The ministry experienced a great harvest of souls in the first two months of 2025:

• OMC Busega: 62 salvations and 13 Baptisms
• OMC Karamoja: 76 salvations
• CHAYAH Ministries: 6 salvations

3. STREET PROGRAM

The street program continues to make a significant impact.

OMC Busega

• Total children fed: 480 over the two months
• Salvations: 17 children
• Life change: 8 children expressed their desire to leave the streets and return to their families

OMC Karamoja

• Total children fed: 800+ were fed every Saturday
• Salvations: 76
• Life Change: 40 children are sponsored by divine care and attached to Lokaala Primary

4. CHURCH PLANTING

A new church plant in Maya Bulwanyi was officially launched on February 23rd, 2025.

5. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

In February 2025, the ministry organized a Leaders’ Retreat, attended by 41 people. Topics discussed included:

• History, vision, and mission of OMC by Pastor Ronald Mbuga
• Evangelism by Pastor Milly
• Leadership, Finances, Goals, and expectations for 2025 by Pastor Peter Namawa

In conclusion, the months of January and February have been productive in terms of outreach, discipleship, and church growth. The leadership retreat has helped equip leaders for the work ahead, and the street program has had a significant impact in transforming children’s lives.
